The Mission Committee is spotlighting The Teen Center for the month of April. There are three ways to get involved:  Donating items for Next Step baskets, helping with basket prep on St. Luke’s Day of Service (April 26) and attending the Teen Center graduation (May 2).

The Teen Center’s 2026 class is the largest class EVER with over 40 seniors!  Every senior will get a Next Step basket as a graduation gift.  Donations for these baskets can be sent directly to the Teen Center by using their Amazon Wish List and choosing the address for the Teen Center for shipping.  Items must be received by April 20.

Day of Service on Sunday, April 26: We will be prepping the Next Sept baskets at Burke High School.  Heidi Larson is the St Luke liaison for this project.  Opportunities to sign up will be forthcoming.

The Teen Center Graduation Party is scheduled for Saturday, May 2 from 11:00am-1:00pm, and will be held in Burke High School’s cafeteria.  You must RSVP by April 21 to add your name to the guest list for security purposes.  When you RSVP, please indicate your name and the names of anyone who will be attending with you.  RSVP to julie@teencenter.org

Reminder: If you are donating items or money to the Teen Center for their upcoming Graduation Party, donations should NOT come to St. Luke but should go only and directly to the Teen Center at their Burke High School location (Teen Center, 12200 Burke Blvd, Omaha, NE 68154)
