The information (below) on this page is for St. Luke members.  We hope the information here is helpful; however, if you find yourself stuck in the process or if you have questions about anything on this page, contact Roger in the Church Office.  Or stop by during office hours, Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.  (It is helpful if you arrange in advance when you plan to stop by to make sure Roger will be available.)

Weekly "Connect" email

St. Luke sends out the "Connect" email each week to provide details about what is currently happening and upcoming events.  If you want to be added to this email list, send your email address to:  churchoffice@stlukeumc.com

You will need to check your email for a confirmation email from Constant Contact.  If you don't see it in your Inbox, you may want to check your Spam or Junk folders in case your email provider sorted it as spam.

If you unsubscribe from one of our emails, it will unsubscribe you from all St. Luke mailing lists.

For assistance with our weekly emails or any St. Luke technology, contact Roger in the Church Office.

Updating Your Information at St. Luke

St. Luke wants to have updated info for each member in our database, as well as an individual and/or family photo.  If you ever have updated information for us, or want to submit a new photo, see the fillable update form below, save it to your computer, then email it to our Church Office.

We do want an individual or family photo for every St. Luke member.  The photos help all of us put names and faces together.  Photos can be casual or professional pictures--cell phone pics are welcome too!

Update forms and photos can be emailed to:  roger@stlukeumc.com

    • Or you can go to the stlukeumc.com  home page:

      • Under our big star logo, click on the “Live” tab
      • Click on the worship service you want to watch (either live or past worship services through November 30, 2025)
    • Facebook:
      • Go to: stlukeumc.com
        • Scroll about half way down the home page to the blue box and click on “Watch Live” (this will open our Facebook page)
        • In the right hand column, scroll down to look for the worship service you want to watch (either live or past)—they will be listed by dates they were posted, so they will be intermixed with other daily Facebook posts

And here are even more ways you can view our worship services:

  • In our weekly email to the congregation:
    • Scroll down through the email, past the “Calendar” and past the “Quick Links”
    • Immediately after the blue “Quick Links” box is a box titled “Worship Service Options” (the options in this box will change beginning March 1, but the box will remain there with links you can click on)
  • If you have a Smart TV:
    • Open YouTube
    • Search for St. Luke United Methodist Church Omaha
    • You may have to repeat these steps every time
  • Luke’s new phone app:
    • Install St. Luke’s phone app (see instructions elsewhere in this document)
    • Select “Livestream” or “Past Sermons,” then choose which Sunday you want
    • Listen or watch at your convenience from anywhere you have service
  • On St. Luke’s website:
    • Go to: stlukeumc.com
    • Near the top of the home page, click on the “Sermons” tab (to the right of our star logo)
    • Worship services are in date order, with the most recent at the top of the list—just click on the Sunday you want to watch. (The worship services on this page only go back to January 5, 2025, as that is when we started posting them on our website.)
    • In the gray boxes on the right hand side, you can filter sermons by who preached or by calendar year
  • On St. Luke’s YouTube page:
St. Luke's Phone App

St. Luke's Church App (powered by Tithely) is a free app that makes it easier than ever to stay connected with worship, events, giving, and church news—all in one place.

With our app you can:

  • Watch or listen to livestream worship services or past sermons
  • Give securely to St. Luke
  • View our current announcements
  • View details about upcoming events
  • Access the church database to look up other church members or to access your own information and giving (you will need to set yourself up as a user in our database program)
  • Access St. Luke’s website
  • Access the Upper Room daily devotional
  • Access a digital Bible where you can look up any passage in whatever version of the Bible you want to use and/or search the Bible for keywords and/or topics

How to download the St. Luke Church App (powered by Tithely) on your phone:

  • Open your app store
    1. iPhone → App Store
    2. Android → Google Play Store
  • Search for “Tithely”—it will be under "Church App - Tithely" and will be a blue background with a white cell phone and white leaves coming up out of the top of the phone
  • Download the Tithely App, then tap Install or Get
  • Open the App
  • Search for St. Luke UMC and select it—it should look like our gold star logo, which is how it will show on your phone
  • Create an account (this step is optional but you will need it to access the Members button)
    1. Creating an account allows you to give faster, register for events, and receive notifications—but you can use most of the app without an account
    2. You WILL have to have an account in Breeze to access the “Members” button on the bottom bar. For security reasons, the information in “Members” is only accessible to church members who are already in our database and who create an account.
  • That’s it! You’re connected to our phone app!

Need help?  Contact Roger at roger@stlukeumc.com or 402-333-6886 ext. 300--he’d love to help!

NOTE:  When you install the phone app, you will need to register and set yourself up as a user in Breeze in order to access the “Members” feature at the bottom of the app screen.  Below are the instructions on how to set up your account in Breeze.

Introduction to Breeze
(our church membership database)

St. Luke uses Breeze Church Management software to maintain our member and friends’ contact information and financial contributions.  We invite our members to access St. Luke’s member database to view their own information, view their information about pledges and giving, and search for contact information of other St. Luke members (i.e. an online church directory).

Breeze is secure and can only be accessed by individuals who are already in St. Luke's database and who have also set themselves up as users in Breeze.

Members will need a link to begin the process of setting up their Breeze user account. To receive the link and instructions for setting yourself up as a user, email churchoffice@stlukeumc.com

NOTE:  If you have our phone app, you will have to register in Breeze in order to use the "Members" button on the phone app.

If you are already set up as a user in Breeze, you can go to:
