Giving isn’t so much a matter of what you have but who you are, deep down.  At St. Luke we believe that our gifts are in response to the many blessings that God has given us in our lives.  Your gifts to St. Luke help us impact families, children, teens and those in need.  Your giving can be in the form of time, talent/service, or gifts.  If you have time or talents you wish to share, we would love to hear from you!

Your financial gifts to St. Luke will be processed quickly and will immediately impact our ministries to families, children, teens and those in need. Your gifts are tax-deductible.

Complete giving information and credit/debit card details. Once complete, the information is securely saved for future gifts.

You can easily give at any time by texting a simple number (ex. 250) and hitting send!

Other Ways to Give to St. Luke

  • Online “bill pay” from your bank:  This is set up at your bank by you—you just tell your bank to pay St. Luke, when to pay St. Luke, and the amount, and your bank will mail us your one-time or recurring gift
  • Auto-deductions directly from your bank account by St. Luke:   This option does not cost St. Luke anything and St. Luke receives the full amount of the gift.
  • Stock donations:  Donations of stock can be transferred to St. Luke's stock broker to sell and credit the amount to your giving.
  • Required Minimum Distributions (RMD):  St. Luke is a qualified 501(c)(3) and is an eligible charity to receive RMD donations.
  • Mail or bring your check to the Church Office:  St. Luke, 11810 Burke Street, Omaha, NE 68154

For more information about giving or any of the options above, contact the Church Office at churchoffice@stlukeumc.com.  It is recommended that you always notify St. Luke in advance if/when you are going to give via auto-deduct, stock donation or RMD.

Memorials & Honorariums

Money received through memorials and honorariums is placed in our Memorial Fund.  This fund allows us to do special projects to and around St. Luke’s building which we are unable to do within our regular budget.  We hope that it will bring you satisfaction to know that the gifts received in memory of your loved one will be making a difference for St. Luke for years to come.

As a token of our appreciation for the memorials received, we are happy to provide you with a means of remembrance of your loved one.  We have two “Honorariums & Memorials” Displays dedicated to listing the names of those for whom memorials have been received.  One display is in the upper bell tower foyer and the other display is in the lower canopy foyer—the displays are exact duplicates so an individual’s name will appear on both displays.

Memorial names are shown based on the level of memorial gifts St. Luke has received.

To make a donation to a memorial, you can do one of the following:

  • Donate via our secure online link:  Click on the blue "Make Memorial Donation" button below.  In the "Choose Fund" dropdown box, select "Memorial."  Enter your personal information and payment information.  Near the bottom in the "Memo" box, make sure to enter the name of the person you are making a donation for, i.e. "John Smith Memorial."
  • Mail a check made payable to St. Luke United Methodist Church:  Make sure to put the name of the person you are making a donation for (i.e. "John Smith Memorial") on the memo line of the church.  Mail the check to:  St. Luke UMC, 11810 Burke Street, Omaha, NE 68154.
