Adults and youth — come show your church pride and lend a hand! We have several outdoor projects that we need help with. With many hands working together, we can accomplish a lot in just a few hours!

Clean-Up Day: Saturday, April 11

  •  8:30–11:30am
  •  Meet at the garage (lower parking lot)
  •  Come for the entire time or just for whatever portion of the morning you’re able to give. Every bit of help makes a difference!
  • If the weather doesn’t cooperate on April 11, we will postpone to April 18 or 25.

Please bring your favorite yard and hand tools, such as work gloves, rakes, tarps, leaf blowers, trimmers, wheelbarrows, etc.

Projects we hope to complete:

  • Add mulch around trees
  • Pick up branches on property
  • Clean flower beds of leaves and debris (from the main bell tower entrance north around to the child care entrance)
  • Clean up under bushes south of Marshall’s office/patio
  • Clean up volunteer plants on top of garage, replace sheeting if needed to prevent volunteer plants and anchor down sheeting
  • Sweep gravel and Ice Melt off sidewalks, lower parking lot and CDC drive
  • Power wash cafeteria tables and chairs (move them out to the parking lot to power wash, then move them back inside when dry)
  • Power wash playground equipment on both playgrounds
  • Power wash circle drive under lower canopy

It would be helpful to know who is planning to attend. Please RSVP to roger@stlukeumc.com.

We look forward to working together and making our church grounds look great!
