Missions Team Hosts Toy Drive

Drop off toy donations by Sunday, November 30 (Thanksgiving weekend)

During the month of November, the Missions Team is hosting a Christmas toy drive for Heartland Hope Mission. Each December, Heartland Hope sponsors “Hope Filled Christmas” where parents can “shop” for toys for their children. All toys are needed, with a preference for toys for toddlers, Legos, science kits, STEM-related toys, arts & crafts, journals, and board and hand-held games for 9-11 year-olds.

Toy donations should be placed in the bins on the table in the Missions Corner. We will deliver them to Heartland Hope.

Volunteers are also needed at Heartland Hope for toy sorting and set-up (Dec 5-12) and toy distribution (Dec 15-20) at their location at 2021 U Street. Weekend and evening shifts are available. You can sign up for these shifts at the Heartland Hope website:
