St. Luke Teen Center was started in 2007 to meet after-school needs of Burke High School students.  The Teen Center program works to help teens discover and pursue their potential while working toward self-sufficiency.  Programming includes academic assistance, post-secondary preparedness, exposure events, alumni services, health and wellness, and student and family support services.  The program is open to all Burke students thought most “at risk” in some fashion.  Each year, the Teen Center accepts approximately 120 students and has an average daily attendance of 50.

In 2021 the Teen Center went through the exciting process of rebranding and becoming their own 501c3.  The Teen Center is now a collaborative effort with St. Luke, Burke High School, Nebraska Methodist College and numerous community partners.  Although the Teen Center is now their own 501c3, St. Luke still supports through the financial support of its church members.

The Teen Center is funded by gifts and grants.  Check out the Teen Center web site (see button below) to learn more about the Teen Center and/or how your gift can support this program.
