This year on Sunday, September 24, in our 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. worship services, we will include a blessing of the animals. Everyone is invited to submit a photo of your pet(s), which will be put together in a slide show to air in worship that morning.

Submit your photo as follows:

  • Submit your photo by email to: roger@stlukeumc.com
  • Or submit your photo in the offering plate, or in person to Roger in the Church Office during office hours (Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.).
  • All photos (digital or printed copies) must be submitted by Friday, September 15.
  • Along with your photo, be sure to include the pet’s name and the owner’s name(s).

NOTE: This year’s Blessing of the Animals is not a separate service. We are incorporating the blessing into our regular worship services. Please do not bring your pets with you–just get us a photo in advance.
