Today’s political climate has wounded relationships. It’s hard to stay friends, speak kindly and agree to disagree with others who do not share our opinions on policies, candidates or parties. There is hope for creating better relationships with families, friends, communities that have suffered as a result of politics.
The After Party (TAP) is a discussion and guide about “political discipleship.” It is not a Bible study, nor is it a guide on who/how to vote. It is not an endorsement of a particular party, policy, or candidate.
We will offer a small group based on TAP. This will be a 6-session video-based course that aims to heal political divisiveness in churches, communities and families. St. Luke will be sponsoring the discussion series on Thursday evenings, October 3 through November 21, at 7:00 p.m. (note there will be no meeting on October 31). This group will meet in St. Luke’s Conference Room—use the lower canopy doors.
