Christmas Decorating & Snack Potluck

Because December 1 is the first Sunday in Advent, we will be decorating St. Luke for the Advent/Christmas season on Monday, November 25. This year we have the added fun of decorating our new renovation spaces!

We need many volunteers here to help. If you cannot be here the whole time, please come for whatever times you are available. Times we need volunteers:

• Monday, November 25 from 8:30-11:30 a.m.: We need help bringing the decorations upstairs, unpacking them, and fluffing the tree branches (If you come to help in the morning, come to the bell tower door and ring the doorbell to be admitted.)
• Monday, November 25 from 4:30-7:30 p.m.: We need help decorating the Sanctuary, Great Room, new coffee area and lower canopy foyer (If you come to help in the evening, park in the lower lot and come to the lower canopy doors so you can take your potluck item directly to the Cafeteria and/or drop off your child in the Sunday School classroom off the foyer. The bell tower doors will not be open this evening.)

To give us a little burst of energy for the 4:30-7:30 p.m. decorating, we are also doing a potluck of appetizers and desserts; so if you come to decorate in the evening, bring your potluck item of your favorite appetizer or dessert to share. We will have all the goodies in the Cafeteria to enjoy before and during our decorating.

Parents, we will have limited child care available if you plan to come help us. If you need child care for this event, make sure to make reservations at the sign-up link below. Also be sure to indicate the number and ages of children (plan to bring supper for your kids).
