Scout Troop at St. Luke…New Scouts Welcome!
Scout Troop 326 (boys ranging from 10-17) meets at St. Luke every Monday night at 7:00. We have boys from OPS, Millard and District 66 school districts. Boys do not have to have been in Cub Scouts in order to join this troop. We welcome new boys and they can join at any age. For more information, email the Scoutmaster at: info@troop770.org

7:00 p.m.—A service of comfort and hope for those for whom the holiday season can be stressful and sad and/or for those who have suffered a loss this year (or in prior years). This service will be held in-person in St. Luke’s Sanctuary and via Zoom (Zoom ID 970 8951 1256).
Sunday morning, December 24—Christmas Carols Service/Family Worship
Only one combined worship service this morning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Marshall will give the sermon and the Chancel Choir will sing and lead us in singing carols. Nursery will be offered as usual, but there will be no Sunday School for children and youth. This service will be held in-person in St. Luke’s Sanctuary and via Zoom (Zoom ID 918 2323 4978).

Sunday Evening, December 24, Christmas Eve evening worship services
4:00 p.m.—Family Worship—Designed for families with children but everyone is welcome for our service of candle lighting, a brief message and child-friendly songs. This service will be held in-person in St. Luke’s Sanctuary and via Zoom (Zoom ID 950 6872 9985). Families are invited to stay at 5:00 for communion.
5:00-6:00 p.m.—Communion—There will be a brief blessing at 5:00. Communion and private or family worship will then be available until 6:00. Those participating in this experience may stay and meditate for as long or short a time as you wish. This service will be held in-person in St. Luke’s Sanctuary.
10:00 p.m.—Pastor Marshall preaching, communion served, music by the Chancel Choir and candlelight. A more formal and very beautiful experience of worship. This service will be held in-person in St. Luke’s Sanctuary and via Zoom (Zoom ID 969 1184 4343).
The Mahjongg Group usually meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month in St. Luke’s Great Room (use only the west bell tower doors). We always welcome new/additional people to this group. Our purpose for this group is fun and socializing! Whether you already play or would like to learn, we welcome all adults! This is the traditional game that was developed in 19th Century China and has now spread throughout the world—it is a tile-based game in which each player draws and discards tiles to form a legal “hand.”

The Women’s Book Club typically meets once every other month on a Thursday. The UMW Book Club is open to all women. The books we discuss are chosen by members in the group, and we all enjoy talking about what we have read and how it impacted us. This is a great way to get to know others at St. Luke!
